Right choices, Open standards
JTeam does not like to reinvent the wheel. We always strive to find existing components that can be reused as part of your application. Choosing the right components is one of the critical success factors of a project and is something in which JTeam excels (e.g. we co-developed the Spring Framework from the beginning). Of course, each project is unique, with differing requirements and priorities that have to be balanced. Therefore, each project will include a proper investigation of which components are best suited.
JTeam has a strong preference for components that adhere to both open standards and open source. Consequently, if there is an open source component that is comparable to its commercial alternatives, we will always choose the open source alternative.
